Seller’s often ask us this question.
What’s the best time to put my house on the market? My answer is consistently the same. The best time to sell your house is the exact time you need to sell your house. It’s not based on seasons or trends. Homes that show especially well and evaluated accurately consistently sell no matter what season or time of year it is.
For Example, if you’re getting relocated for your job in November, waiting to list in the spring is absurd. People looking to buy a house never quit looking. Buying a home over Christmas and Thanksgiving isn’t a perfect scenario but it happens all the time. We sell similarly the same number of homes in the winter time as we do in the spring months.
In all actuality, you have more people looking in the spring market, but you’ll have less competition in the slower months.
Despite the fact that specific communities and kinds of homes may rise in postings and sold homes at different times of the year, we believe that any house will consistently sell for as much as possible and quick as long as it’s evaluated effectively and shows very well.
