Saturday October 24th, Next Step Realty is hosting a drive-through trunk-or-treat event at 22 W Padonia Rd from 3-6pm in the office’s parking loop! This socially-distanced experience will have an assortment of trunks decked out in various themes, so dress up in your favorite costumes and collect candy without leaving your car.
Next Step Realty sent out a survey to over a hundred contacts in the community to better understand what type of events most people would feel comfortable with this Fall in light of COVID-19 and the corresponding mandates. Over 90% of those surveyed responded positively to an outdoor event where the hosts could ensure social distancing as well as general best practices are implemented.
Due to this positive feedback, Next Step Realty decided on a drive-through event that would allow for everyone to stay safely distanced, while still experiencing the fun of Halloween! Here are some guidelines Next Step has prepared in order to make sure the event is safe for all:
– Please remain in your cars and follow the traffic patterns/directional signs to ensure a smooth experience and adhere to socially-distanced regulations
– All candy and trinkets handed out will be individually wrapped
– Anyone handing out candy will be wearing gloves and using socially-distanced candy dispensers in certain situations
– Masks are enforced for all volunteers and encouraged for all participants at your comfort level inside your vehicle
– No restroom access or food will be offered at the event
