Jenna joins Next Step with over 10 years of experience in customer care, marketing and sales, creative arts, process/project management and building effective teams. She has worked in leadership positions with large corporate agencies, like The Walt Disney Company, Target and Apple, as well as in the private sector for several non-profits. In her role prior to joining Next Step Realty, Jenna worked for a rapidly expanding private company in Orlando which grew from local partnerships, to nationwide online sales and retail partnerships with HiVee and Nordstrom, in just under 2 years. Jenna was instrumental in building the talent pipeline to support this expansion, as well as the corporate infrastructure to ensure its continued success.

Lori Connolly joined The W Home Group in September 2021 as their Director of Development.
She was born and raised in Baltimore and spent seven years living in Boston. Returning to her Baltimore roots in 2012 allowed her to reconnect and build solid connections throughout the community.

Rodney, a native to Baltimore, attended the John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD where he completed his high school education. As a former captain of the men’s basketball program at JC, Rodney prides himself on teamwork and leading by example. After graduating highschool, Rodney received a scholarship to continue playing basketball for the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he later garnered his B.A. in the Management of Aging Services.
After graduating, Rodney worked in a variety of customer service and sales roles; holding multiple management positions as well as pursuing entrepreneurship endeavors too. Rodney eventually transitioned into property management, where he developed his skills business operations, project management, client retention, public speaking, and event management. After a year in property management, Rodney received his real estate license in 2019 and also became a visual inspector (lead inspector) in 2020. Outside of work, Rodney loves to spend time with friends and family, exercising, traveling and coaching youth league basketball.
Sophia Ellard is a native New Yorker who relocated to the Baltimore Area 27 years ago to study Music and History at Morgan State University. Sophia has a vast knowledge base as an Admin/Support person in various industries with the majority of those years being in Insurance and Property Management. She believes in the strength of building good relationships and her positive outlook drives her ability and willingness to help others. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from Towson University, she began working for a small business in Howard County as a General Manager. It was in this position that she was able to learn the ins and outs of business operations, project management, client retention, corporate contracting, vendor relations, public speaking, and event management. After 9 years in small business, Elisabeth transitioned from the small business realm to the real estate world, and is looking forward to applying her knowledge with the Next Step Realty team!

Johnathan is a Maryland native who has lived in a number of different parts of the state. Johnathan is very detail oriented, and known by his peers for taking initiative, and his ability to motivate those around him. He has years of experience in sales and customer service from his former time spent as a car salesman, leasing consultant, assistant property manager, and operating his own Real Estate investing company. Johnathan has always had the natural inclination to help others, and find ways to inspire them to achieve their goals.
Outside of Real Estate, Johnathan is an audio engineer, music producer and songwriter. Music has been a major influence for Johnathan since a child. Creating music was his first passion in life. When introduced to real estate, Johnathan says he discovered that there was something outside of music that he had the same passion and interest for. Melanie is a new and upcoming marketing specialist, focused on high satisfaction for all customers. She was born and raised in Hamilton, NJ until college, when she decided Maryland was her new home. Melanie graduated from Stevenson University with a B.A. in Digital Marketing and Communications, where she was also a member of the NCAA DIII women’s lacrosse team. Mel is well versed in graphic design, social media strategy, and email marketing. During and after college, she has refined her skill set through her experience in industries such as health and wellness, automobile, and real estate. Adam has worked in the Real Estate industry since 2016 and in the greater DMV area since 2010, blending experience as an Army Officer with 12+ years of marketing, sales, and hustle. A native Bostonian, Adam attended George Mason University and worked in DC for several years where he met his future wife and now fellow Next Step Realty agent, Amanda Khera (who quickly showed him the Maryland way with copious amounts of Old Bay on all dishes). After working in DC, Adam deployed to the Horn of Africa, followed up with work in the high-paced market of apartments rentals in Boston, and then went on a 7+ month trip around the world with Amanda, living out of backpacks and getting engaged at the Taj Mahal.

His father (born in Egypt) and mother (born in the Philippines) met in Washington D.C. in the early eighties. Alisa is a Baltimore native who after graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2000, moved to New York City to pursue her passion for the music business. In 2002, Premier was bought by one of the world’s leading talent agencies, William Morris Agency and Alisa moved over to WMA for several years before landing on the management side of the business at 10th Street Entertainment. During her time in the music business, Alisa worked on worldwide concert tours for some of the biggest names in music including Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty & Motley Crue before ultimately deciding to move back to Baltimore to get married and start a family. Amanda was born and raised in Carroll County, MD during a time when there seemed to be more cows than people. She spent the majority of her younger years exploring everywhere from the unique neighborhoods to the hidden hiking trails scattered across the state with her camera/writing pad and her moxy-filled yorkie, named Monte Cristo. She graduated from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communication and used those skills to work in front of and behind the camera for MTV and other companies. These life adventures allowed her to continue her exploration across multiple states, eventually finding herself smack dab in the heart of our nation’s capital, working as Zipcar’s Locations Coordinator and then the Baltimore/DC General Manager for General Motors Maven. She got her first taste of real estate in those positions by locating, negotiating and managing over 400-600 separate car-sharing locations across MD, DC & VA which involved working directly with commercial real estate professionals, major universities, NGO’s, Fortune 500 companies, government entities, and your neighbors down the street.
But adventure was calling, so with just a red backpack and her husband, Adam McCaffrey, they set off on a 7+ month backpacking trip from France to Singapore and almost everywhere in between. The trip taught her how to appreciate and enjoy the essence of other cultures through exploring cultural cuisines, spirituality, customs, music and more!

Nicole Boarman has always had a natural passion for architecture and home design. As a young child, she would reimagine her childhood home and dream of one day being an architect or an interior designer. These were the first steps into her career in real estate, which has spanned over 7 years and counting!
While In school, she took drafting and Computer-Aided Design classes & began working for Builders First choice and Columbia Builders. After which Nicole was recruited into the construction field when her experience with CAD and reading plans became a skill required for the job. She managed the new construction of $1M+ homes — helping builders, architects, and homeowners imagine their new space and managing the process from the very first estimate, to the final completion of the new home.

Tracy has lived in the greater Annapolis area for over 27 years and has served her clients and neighbors as a Realtor for much of that time.
