I got recommended to James Weiskerger from one of my previous landlords. He set me up with one of his associates, Avatar Harris. Being a first time home buyer it is very important to get assistance from a knowledgeable and caring person. Avatar was this plus more. She made sure that I could find the home of my dreams at a cheap price while not being taken advantage of from people trying to get rid of faulty homes/etc. She was never hesitant to give her honest opinion on homes that were not up to par which helped so much in making the proper decision on a home. I went in and out of the market of buying a home for a year and Avatar was all ears every single time I would ask to see a home. In that entire year it was easily forgotten that Avatar was my realtor because it always felt like a day out looking at homes with a friend. Overall, she is awesome. I couldn’t ask for more in a realtor.

Our first-time homebuying experience was smooth and free of stress because of Chrissy’s fantastic presence. From standing her ground with negotiating in the initial stages, to following up with a few unusual speedbumps midway through, Chrissy was tenacious when it came to the offer itself. And no matter what the process (or our questions) threw at her, she responded quickly and with a calm, certain understanding. Courtney from Next Step Realty was amazing. She is so easy to work with, very responsive, and very quick. Me and my wife contacted her on a Wednesday as first-time homebuyers just beginning our search for a new home, on Thursday of the same week we found a house we wanted to go see, she was able to set up an appointment that night to see it and we fell in love. By Friday morning she had an offer drafted for us and submitted it to the seller. Throughout the negotiation process, she was excellent and aggressive. She knew exactly what to offer each time to get the counter-offer that we where looking for. After we settled on an offer she set up all our inspections for us and further negotiated with the seller to cover all of our closing costs. Closing day was seamless and quick. Throughout the whole process, she was professional, honest, and tailored to our specific needs. We will definitely be using Next Step Realty again when we decide to sell our home and buy a bigger home.

David was beyond helpful in finding my first home. He drove over half the state looking at countless homes for me to potentially buy. Jennifer is a compassionate and empathetic person with the client’s best interests in mind. That said, she is also able to negotiate and navigate the world of Baltimore City real estate with a swift and fierce intelligence. I felt in good hands during the entire process. I am in the process of buying my first house. I had a very rough start with another realtor and then Jess came along. She has been my saving grace. Any time I overthink something (which is often), she is always there with a positive attitude to keep me on the right track. She has gone above and beyond, making me feel like I’m her only client – and I know I’m not by a long shot! Her knowledge of the area and her experience with the home buying process have been crucial in keeping me on the right path. I only have to mention one little thing in passing and she retains that information and makes sure to use that to find the best potential properties for me. Let me start off by saying I come from a family of realtors (who are since retired) and therefore I have high expectations. I started looking for my first home, on and off, a few years ago. And I went through many real estate agents; there were communication problems and I would regularly see properties that were above my price range or outside of areas that I was interested in.

Next Step Realty was recommended to me by 2 friends who had recently purchased a home. That is where I met Meghan and we found my first home within 3 showings!! She was on point with communication and wanted a clear understanding of what I was looking for before taking me out. Those were great aspects, but the thing that I respected most was her candor; when visiting those three homes she pointed out things that would be of concern on home inspections and what she liked among the properties we looked at. She was most concerned in giving me all the information then trying to push a property that was on the upper end of my of my budget.
